  9. Alicia

Just read “The Husband Stitch” in the Nebula Awards Showcase 2016. Liked it so much, I came to the library to search for more of your work. Happily found you had a website to guide me in those efforts…So many ways the story moved me, even though I never have been and am not married, and am unable to have children. I am in my 40s and increasingly an ancillary to other’s lives. Been thinking a lot about marriage and if it would happen and what it might mean for me. Definitely a case of “the hell you know and the one you don’t” and “be careful what you wish for.”

    1. Hi Alicia,

Thanks so much for your kind words about my story! I hope you enjoy my other work that’s linked-to here. I also have a book coming out next fall, called Her Body & Other Parties, which includes “The Husband Stitch.”
