O, the Workshop! You can’t go two days without tripping over some more wonderful news.
Ayana Mathis’ forthcoming book The Twelve Tribes of Hattie, which is already getting a lot of buzz, has just been picked by Oprah for her book club. It also got a wonderful review in the New York Times. (I was lucky enough to see early versions of this novel – it’s wonderful, and I can’t wait to see the final product.)
The illustrious Bennett Sims has a new story at Electric Literature‘s Recommended Reading, “White Dialogues.”
Bryan Castille’s story “Without Form,” published in New South this year, was just nominated for a Pushcart Prize.
