The 75th Anniversary of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop

In June, the Workshop had its 75th anniversary. Alumni and former teachers of the Workshop descended on Iowa City for a three days of readings, talks, and merriment. It was an  honor – not to mention incredibly exciting – to see so many of Iowa’s writers in one place, and to hear stories about the Workshop spanning seven decades.

I was one of the photographers for the event. (Apologies for the delay in covering this here; a family emergency wiped out the week after the Anniversary and before my trip that I’d planned to work on photos and updates.) Here are some of the speakers and attendees:
